Pablo Reinoso

The FIAC in Paris offered a fine opportunity to reflect upon the materials and narrative poetics of Pablo Reinoso, a Franco-Argentine sculptor. Two works were presented by the London gallery Waddington Custot: L’Arche and Le Cercle.

The former work is made of steel and its shape echoes and seems to become a part of the door of the Petit Palais, which indeed it faces. The latter appears to emerge from the waters of the octagonal pond in the garden of the Tuileries.

Reinoso’s skill in discovering ever-new uses for his materials, which is explored in Pablo Reinoso (5 Continents Editons 2017), is confirmed once again in creations that leave viewers simply amazed!
