The success of Artico and its author Vincent Munier continues unabated. The September issue of Il Giornale del Viaggiatore, a biannual travel and culture magazine published by Tucano Viaggi Ricerca in Turin, devotes a number of pages to our book. The lion’s share of the work is actually done by the silent yet magnificent illustrations and the cover photo of one of the ghosts of the tundra—as the Inuit call Arctic wolves—that challenges the reader’s ideas about the intentions of this seemingly placid, inoffensive animal.

We are proud to enable armchair travellers and nature lovers to wander the expanses of the North, even if only in their imaginations—but perhaps in preparation for their own explorations, too . . . what animals might they encounter?
