Mille ans de monochromes

Mille ans de monochromes. Vaisselle sacrée et profane des empereurs de Chine, an exhibition of fine Chinese imperial ceramics, is being held at the Fondation Baur, Musée des Arts d’Extrême-Orient, in Geneva from September 27, 2018 until February 3, 2019. A brief film serves as an introduction for visitors—whether enthusiasts, scholars, or the simply curious—in which the museum’s director Laure Schwartz-Arenales and the art historian and expert in Chinese ceramics Peter Y. K. Lam present a number of pieces, highlighting their superb quality and originality.
