Make way for Eggs on Gambero Rosso

The over two hundred eggs photographed by Paul Starosta that find their way into his book Uova (Eggs) look like an array of imaginary planets. This is how this universe of multifarious eggs initially struck Federico Geremei, as well as being the metaphor the journalist uses to introduce this primordial object on the digital pages (sic) of the magazine Gambero Rosso, highlighting its “powerful lyricism combined with erudite undertones, which turn the domestic picture of one of the commonest foods on our tables into something altogether more mysterious.”
